Terms of use

1. The service

Jemo collects information about races from public calendars, from organizers' pages and from the organizers themselves, and shows it on a map. It is not the organizer of the races and does not handle registrations or payments: to register you are sent to the organizer's website or to the platform they chose.

2. Reliability of the information

Dates, courses, distances, elevation gains, fees, requirements and points (for example ITRA) are indicative: they may be incomplete, change or contain errors from the source or from our import system. Before registering and setting off, the official race rules always prevail. GPX tracks are provided for information only and do not replace the course markings or the organization's instructions.

Running, especially in the mountains, involves risks: you take part in races at your own risk and according to the organizer's rules, including the medical certificate required for competitive races in Italy.

3. Account

An account is needed to save races and create alerts. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activities carried out with your account. You can delete it at any time from the My account page. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.

4. Organizers' content

Anyone who publishes or edits a race declares that they are the organizer or are authorized to do so, and that the content (texts, contact details, GPX tracks) is accurate and does not infringe third-party rights. They grant Jemo the free, non-exclusive right to publish and display it on the site and in the apps for the entire duration of the race and of its archive. Races entered by organizers may be checked before publication.

5. Reports and illegal content

If you find an error or content you believe to be illegal, use "Report a problem" on the race page (an account is required) or write to report@dojemo.com, stating the page and the reason. We review reports without delay and reply to you. This address is also the point of contact for users and authorities under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act); you can write in Italian or in English.

6. Permitted use

You may not use the site for illegal activities, upload false or harmful content, circumvent security measures or bulk-extract the site's data with automated tools without an agreement. The public APIs may be used within the stated traffic limits.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability or of complete data. To the extent permitted by law, Jemo is not liable for damages arising from incorrect race information, from changes or cancellations decided by the organizers, or from interruptions of the service. The rights that the law grants to consumers remain unaffected.

8. Third-party trademarks and data

Race names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Maps © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL license), OpenFreeMap tiles. The data sources are stated on every race page and in the privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and for significant changes we notify registered users by e-mail. Italian law applies. For consumers, the competent court is that of the place where the consumer resides or is domiciled. For any questions: info@dojemo.com.
